Theverge.com: Openai chatgpt gpt store ai launch

OpenAI’s custom GPT Store is up and running.

OpenAI’s GPT Store, where customers may share their customised chatbots, officially started for business on Wednesday after several months of anticipation. Beyond what the firm does for clients, the shop broadens OpenAI’s ecosystem and adds more possible use cases to ChatGPT.

OpenAI reported that since launching the GPT Builder programme in November, users have produced more than 3 million bots, or GPTs. (Including me; I created a GPT that offers synonyms for frequently used terms). The business stated that it intends to feature helpful GPTs within the store once a week.

The Chatgpt Store was originally scheduled to debut in November, but the company moved up the opening date to December and then January. Those who have developed their chatbots can post their public versions of ChatGPT on the platform. Currently, only OpenAI premium tier subscribers can use custom GPTs.

Additionally, OpenAI declared that in the first part of the year, it will begin a revenue-sharing programme with the producers of GPT. The company has not yet made public information regarding how GPT builders would be paid for interacting with their chatbots.

Prior to the GPT Store’s introduction, OpenAI declared that it has developed a new review system to ensure that customised GPTs follow its usage and brand guidelines. It also revised the process for reporting GPTs that users deem dangerous.

Users of ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise users, and subscribers to a new tier called Team will all be able to access the GPT Store.

ChatGPT Team is a premium edition of ChatGPT intended for smaller teams with less than 150 members. Similar to ChatGPT Enterprise, ChatGPT Team provides data control, access to DALL-E 3, GPT-4, and OpenAI’s Advanced Data Analysis capability. According to OpenAI, none of its models will be trained using the data and discussions from ChatGPT Teams. Subscribers to the ChatGPT Team can also create custom GPTs to meet the specific needs of their teams or use other GPTs available in the marketplace.

The cost of ChatGPT Team is $25 per month for yearly billing or $30 per month for monthly payment.
